well… we always have the alphabet!

K is for Kangaroo

Where have I been? I get all this traffic for making flash cards and then I go and fall off the face of the earth. I’m sorry about that. Things have just been a little bit loopy here in SAJ-land this last week. First off, the art show is over and I have to find a new purpose in life now. It’s not that bad but it does feel a bit strange not to be looking forward to it anymore.

L is for Lion

Secondly, my family is going through some private turmoil. It’s got us all a little sideways. I don’t feel free to blog about it right now and when I do (if I do) I have a feeling it’s not going to be very pretty. So I’ll just be like Owen Wilson and ask you to let me suffer heal in private. Just kidding. It’s not that bad. Nobody is committing suicide. It just feels like it sometimes.

On that light note, I give you the letters K and L and little letters c and d! Yay! Letters make everything better! Oh no! You missed the free letter download. Stay tuned. They will be released again for sale in my shop.

I hope whatever is going on with your family shakes out okay. Hang in there — your loyal readers will still be here when you’re ready to blog again…

BTW, congrats on the show — it looks like it went splendidly!

I hope everything works out with your family. We are also having some things go on in our family that are stressful AND that I can’t talk about right now. So I know how you feel about having to deal with it now and MAYBE talk about it later. Good luck.

Thanks for the cards. You are wonderful!!!

    Yay for letters!
and, well, you already got my e-mail so I’ll say no more ’bout the other. ‘cept smooches and hugs from my smockin’-cyber-lane to yours.

Hey there, I’m sorry that your family is going through a rough patch.

I will say this though… if this drama is related to something religious, which I know you have referenced a few times in our conversations before… run the other way. I swear more people do more crazy things in the name of God, Christ, Allah, or whatever you chose to call the “spirit in the sky.” It just baffles me that something that is supposed to bring peace and solitude can be so damaging at times.

I hope that you, the Bug, and Toby are ok though.

Congratulations on such a huge success of a show! It looked like such fun.

I’m sending positive vibes to you and your family in this difficult time. Take as much time as you need and no worrying about silly things like cards (although they are goregous) and your readers (we’ll be fine) :)

Sorry to hear that things are difficult in your family life right now, hope it all works out for the best. I was thrilled to see K is for Kangaroo, although now we are living Down Under, I have yet to find anyone who can tell me what noise a kangaroo makes, its kind of hard to do Old Macdonald Oz style!

Oh, how I wish I could see you right now. I wish, above all, to be open with you and understand what you want, need, or think.

Sending thoughts your way for your family. Families are great but all go through tough times.

Your cards are wonderful and I love the new masthead. I was laughing all by myself here at the bullet accross the top.

Can we blame it on the heat? I think not. Things are said, repeated and repeated, embellished and embroidered and somehow change from the original thought. Remember when we used to play that “parlor game telephone?” How distorted from the original did the ending message evolve! As far as I know, NOTHING has been decided regarding our problem. Why get upset about cheap talk? Remember, we love you.

One of the most effective ways of releasing the power of God is through the forgiveness of one’s enemies. If you really want to throw a monkey wrench into the enemy’s plan to destroy you, then forgive everyone who has ever wronged you, however seriously. There is tremendous power in forgiveness. It brings about healing and the joy of restored fellowship.

Oh, private turmoil is the worst (experiencing a bit of it myself and it’s just icky). Good luck with yours–hang in there. :)

Any by the way, the alphabet is lovely!
