Moody Blues

hiatus again.

Sometimes I just want to run for the hills and never come back. (And take my baby with me of course.)

I think I better go on hiatus for a while. I’ll be back when I have a better attitude.

Love,
B.

SAJ please come back soon (my days won’t be the same). I hope everything is ok. I’ll send positive thoughts your way.

Aw, I hope you feel better soon. Don’t be afraid to ask a friend to take
the bug off of your hands so you can have some time all alone. I think
all mom’s need to decompress alone sometimes. Girl, check into a hotel
for a night if you have to. Be selfish!!

Oh, and I just found your blog! And I love it. The monthly movies are too cute, but then again so is your precious bug. Come back soon, please!

Ugh. I hope you’re feeling better soon. We all get this way sometimes, especially those of us with kids!

Also, I hope you don’t get mad at me for pointing this out, but 4 weeks ago you had an emotional few days, and you joked about how we’d remind you of it a month later, because you were PMSing… You may be “post” MS instead of “pre” MS, but I’d just like to remind you that in general it takes a good year or so a woman’s hormones to settle down after having a baby.

I know it’s not the answer to everything (I hate it when I have a PMS meltdown at my husband and once I realize what’s going on, I lose all credibility — whatever had set me off still would have upset me if I had been hormonally normal, it’s just that I probably wouldn’t have hit the ceiling over it), but it could be a factor.

Hang in there! Sending virtual hugs your way…

Hmm… I’m worried now that I’ve made it sound like if you’re upset you must have PMS. That’s awful. I’m sorry — I swear that’s not what I meant…

It’ll be ok SAJ. Just think, I have 2 more weeks (give or take ofcourse). Yikes, I can hardly believe where the time went. I’m thinking of you.

Will miss you, hope you feel better soon. We all need a hiatus every once in a while.

I am taking mine in California, only wish I was going to be closer to you to stop by for a Starbucks. Will be in San Diego if you need a trip to the zoo.

Take the time that you need to bring order to your frazzle, but come back soon because I know I’m not the only one that needs a daily fix of Baby Bug to make my day complete!

  • MamaBear

Take me with you! We’d have fun with our babies. How about some tropical beach location on a far away island with no form of communication with real world? Oh if only… even for a week or so, it would help… but maybe I’d stay. Lately every day I want to burry my head in sand or run away…. I do not want to go to work, that’s for sure!!!!!!!

I am sorry you are feeling overwhelmed. I hope the hiatus helps you sort things out. I’ll pray for you.

On a selfish note, this is the third of the five blogs I read that has gone on hiatus or permanently ended in the past two weeks! Is there some sort of hiatus flu going around the blogosphere?

    Secret Agent,
Please don’t feel you have to recuse yourself if you’re feeling down or blue or have a “bad attitude”… No one is perfect. And many of us are far less perfect than you :) Maybe you could view this as a place to express yourself when you’re feeling down…. ?? Just a thought…

Hey B, all the best to you in your time away. FYI, gave it a good try but I’m heading back to AZ about 10/7. So if you ever want to shoot desert photos, your guest room awaits you.

  • Felix

I didn’t use to be too emotional around that time of month but I have definitely noticed it more since I had Baby Felix. Just hoping it passes soon and I can get back to being my normal self. The part that actually bugs me the most is getting emotional or sappy at movies and such – I NEVER used to do that! Oh well. Pregnancy sure changes you hormonally and physically – not to mention the new added responsibility of taking care of a baby. Hope you feel yourself again soon. Enjoy your time off – but come back soon – I miss your blog. We’ll have to get Baby Bug and Baby Felix together again soon for a play day. :)
