SAJ’s top favorite OC Lunch Spots

Wholesome Choice (aka Little Dubai) Food Court: Especially good for Indian food and many many deserts. Downside the dining area is the front of a grocery store with a view of the parking lot.

Papaya Thai Bistro : super yummy, kinda crazy Asian-centric (in a good way) shopping center

Urban Plates : Trendy $10 a plate, fun, delicious

Le Pain Quotidien Fashion Island : lots of places for kids to walk around and look at fountains, coy fish etc…

Bamboo Bistro : super yummy, not so kid-friendly

Thai Del Mar : super yummy, tiny hole in the wall, sometimes not even open, best for take out for walk to the park or beach

PF Changs Fashion Island : home of lettuce wraps and free drinks for kids!

Gypsy Den at the Lab : Hipsterville but yummy and lots of fun things for kids to walk around and play on/in

Taco Mesa on 19th Street : pretty good Mexican food and awesome wall art for instagramming. Also across the street from my favorite thrift store.

Cafe Lucca : They have latte art!  And pretty good salads and seasonal fare. Plus Old Town Orange is really fun to walk around.
